Pregnancy is a formative experience no matter how many times you have gone through it. There are many decisions to be made during this time and a doula can support and guide you through this process.
Iām excited to get to know you and your family and become a part of your unique birth story.

Meet Your Doula
I am a wife and dog mom currently living in Durham North Carolina though I was raised in Mt. Olive North Carolina. I made my way to Wilmington to attend the University of North Carolina Wilmington where I obtained my Bachelors of Science in Community Health Education. After taking a few years off from formal schooling I returned as a graduate student at the University of Alabama Birmingham and graduated with a Masters of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health Policy and Leadership.
My studies along with my own personal research solidified my decision to become a doula. Many unfavorable pregnancy and birth outcomes can be prevented with education and advocacy and these are only a few things that a doula provides to their clients. It is my belief that every woman should be supported in the decisions they make about their body and their birth. After hearing the birth stories of mothers old and young, I feel compelled to do my small part in making sure this experience is the best that it possibly can be.
